What it does.

Ello calls patients and trial participants on the schedule the protocol defines, in their language, and asks how they are in a natural conversation: symptoms as they describe them, how a new medicine or device fits into their life, side effects they notice. What they report is structured after every call, and changes against each person’s own baseline go to the study or care team.

  • Patient-reported outcomes between site visits, from every participant
  • Changes noticed against each person’s own baseline
  • Structured data ready for the study team and the care team

Ello records what people report. It does not diagnose, makes no clinical prediction, and supports the protocol’s clinical assessments rather than replacing them.

How it unfolds.

  1. 01

    Enrollment

Noa, 34, joins a study of a new wearable device and agrees to a short weekly call.

  2. 02

    Every week

Ello asks how the week went, how she sleeps, how the device fits into her days.

  3. 03

    Week three

She mentions mild headaches in the afternoons. Ello records it in her own words and flags it.

  4. 04

    Same day

The study coordinator sees the report and follows up according to the protocol.
